Local Bees And Honey In Shenandoah Valley, Virginia

Saint Mary's Apiaries, founded by Mary Cash, sells the best local bees and honey in Virginia.

Saint Mary’s “Blest bees” are locally mated survivor stock. They have some Italian and Saskatraz genetics but are mostly New World Carniolan queens that were purchased from Bob Binnie of Blue Ridge Honey Company. We have diversified with queens from the state of Washington (carniolan/italian hybrid), Pennsylvania (Italian from the Amish) and Kona queens from the Big Island Of Hawaii.

Saint Mary's Apiaries has had an over 98% average overwintered survival rate. They are great honey and wax producers and are very gentle. I normally work them in shorts, t-shirt and bare handed.

Naturally Raised Bees And Honey

Besides selling the highest quality bees in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, Saint Mary's Blessed Bees produce "The King's Honey" brand local honey.

Saint Mary's Apiary produces 100% naturally raised bees and local, raw, unpasteurized, unfiltered, wonderfully tasting honey that is NOT adulterated in any way.

It is bottled by me (Saint Mary); from honey that is created by my bees from local nectar that is gathered from the surrounding countryside.

Saint Mary's Apiary is located just down the road from the well known St. Mary's Wilderness Area, which is located in the national forest along the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.

Bees And Honey At Saint Mary's Apiaries

Saint Mary Here:

"I am a Va. State Master Beekeeper that has vowed to protect the honey bee by educating others. At this time I am "running" over 100 colonies using mostly langstroth equipment. I sell nucs in the spring and early summer to beginner beekeepers and will sell them in fall and winter to more experienced beekeepers.

I am Blessed to have found my God Given Passion of working with the Amazing honey bee. Come visit for a free tour of my apiaries. Make an appointment today."
